The Rainmaking story is about a group of entrepreneurs who came together at different times. People who wanted to use their experiences to grow businesses. Today several of the businesses still run under the Rainmaking management – including Rainmaking Loft; Startupbootcamp; and Rainmaking Innovation. Startupbootcamp was founded in 2010. It is now an industry focused accelerator program with the mission to actively support thousands of startups and their founders. The program is now one of the largest accelerators in the world, with programs active in 15 cities across five continents. Since 2010, 375 Startupbootcamp teams from 38 classes have raised over €140 million with a combined valuation of more than €700 million.

Program Details
  • Scout globally, identifying and assessing the most appropriate and impactful startups for our corporate partners
  • Engage in due diligence to assess the top startups based on pilot requirements
  • Structure and perform analysis that addresses key business issues, pain points and areas of opportunity, and generate insights about client and industry performance
  • Support sales efforts by creating collateral and delivering workshops and events
  • Execute pilots, using agile and iterative sprints, supporting the day-to-day delivery of activities and managing communications between the corporate and startups
Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in at least one of management consulting, venture capital, product management or at a startup
  • Data collection and analysis experience including interviews, surveys, market reports and analytical modelling
  • Experience owning a workstream in a project, structuring analysis and presenting results
  • Evidence of an interest in startups through work or side projects
  • A strong academic record and willingness to continue learning
  • Program or project management experience, ensuring that deadlines are met and operations run effectively and efficiently
  • Organisational skills and experience working on multiple projects with cross functional teams
  • Ability to communicate and present credibly and effectively
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
